Why We Built iVoiceUp Ventures

Why We Built iVoiceUp Ventures

Growing companies need a trusted, confidential whistleblowing channel long before they need an investigation suite. Here is why we built Ventures for them.

The companies we kept turning away

For most of iVoiceUp's life, we built for the largest organizations in the region. Coca-Cola, Americana, Banque Misr, Orascom and ALJ trust us with some of the most sensitive conversations their people will ever have. We are proud of that work, and we are not walking away from it. But somewhere along the way, we noticed that the companies who needed us most were often the ones for whom our enterprise product simply was not feasible.

The pattern showed up in our inbox before it showed up in our strategy. A founder of a fast growing logistics company would reach out because an investor had asked about their speak up policy . An HR director at a 300 person manufacturer would book a demo after a difficult internal incident. A family business preparing for its first audit would ask what "whistleblowing channel" actually meant in practice. They were serious buyers with a real need, and we kept handing them a product designed for a multinational: months of procurement, security questionnaires, custom configuration and a price that assumed a compliance department they did not have.

A channel, not a smaller investigation suite

That was the moment we had to be honest with ourselves. Our enterprise platform is, at its heart, an investigation system. It is built for organizations with dedicated ethics teams, layered approval chains and cases that move across entities and countries. A growing company does not need most of that on day one. It needs less control and a more affordable option: a trusted, confidential whistleblowing channel that works immediately, that its people will actually use, and that stands up when an auditor, a regulator or a board member asks what happens when someone raises a concern.

So we created a new product. Ventures is built without the features and services enterprises require but a growing company does not, which is what makes it feasible for them. It comes from our enterprise background, and we have not compromised on what matters most: confidentiality, anonymity and audit readiness. Its promise is simple: set up today, audit ready tomorrow.

Starter and Pro

The Starter plan is where most companies begin. Starting at $399 a month, billed annually, and about ten times less  than an enterprise product, a company gets a branded reporting portal in full Arabic, English and 60+ other languages, anonymous two way messaging so investigators can follow up without ever learning who reported, voice  recording, and a unified case inbox with a complete audit trail. Core AI is included rather than sold back as an extra,  so reports are transcribed, translated and read for sentiment automatically. It comes with a MENA compliance pack,  a one click board and audit report, and free implementation. Most customers are live in about thirty minutes, with no  IT project required.

The Pro plan, starting at $665 a month, is for companies where speaking up has become part of the culture and the  volume shows it. It brings an AI chatbot that guides reporters through a submission, AI triage and summaries,  investigation plans and report drafting, custom forms and routing, SLA reminders so no case quietly ages, scheduled  board reports, and a choice of hosting in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Frankfurt. It is, in short, a compliance function on  autopilot for companies that cannot yet justify building one.

Price certainty

The decision we care about most sits underneath both plans. Our pricing never grows with employee headcount. Reporters are never counted as users, and cases are never capped. Many platforms in this category charge by the number of  employees, which means a company pays more the moment it succeeds in hiring, and in some cases pays more the  moment its people start speaking up. We think that gets the incentive exactly backwards. A company should be able to grow from two hundred people to two thousand without renegotiating the price of its integrity.

Why it matters

Changing direction also changed us. Enterprise deals take the better part of a year; our first Ventures customers  signed in weeks. That speed matters beyond revenue. When dozens of companies use a product rather than a handful, we learn faster what reporters trust, what investigators need, and what regulators and auditors actually ask to see. Every one of those lessons flows back into the enterprise platform as well. And when a Ventures customer  outgrows Pro, adding subsidiaries, complex approval chains or its own data residency requirements, our enterprise  tier is waiting for them. We would rather grow alongside a company than try to sell it everything on day one.

There is a bigger reason behind all of this. Culture is set early. By the time a company reaches enterprise scale, the habits around silence and speaking up are already formed . Whether it is whistleblowing for small business or whistleblowing for startups, the habits formed with the first hundred employees tend to last. If we only arrive once  an organization has a chief compliance officer, we arrive after the moment that matters most. We want a confidential, Arabic first speak up channel to be as ordinary for a growing company in Cairo, Riyadh or Dubai as payroll or an accounting system, something you put in place early because that is simply how well run companies operate.

That is why we built Ventures. Not as a smaller version of what we already had, but as the version of iVoiceUp we should have been offering all along to the companies that will become the region's next enterprises.
